Description:

Ayn Adhari was a natural spring dating back centuries a place where locals learnt to swim and cooled off in the summer time. In recent years the natural spring dried up and became a health hazard. The project was to redevelop the area to recreate the ancient pool using modern hygienic treated water, filtration, changing rooms, coffee shops and general landscaping.

The project was completed ahead of schedule and has become a recreational centre for people throughout Bahrain. Extensive landscaping and added greenery provided by a sub soil irrigation system help add to the tranquility of the area.
